My new article, On Nazi belt buckles and swastikas, considers that Atheists are quick to claim that Adolf Hitler, and Nazis in general were Christians because of the motto on their belt buckles...yet, they never seem to get around to claiming that they were Hindus, Buddhists, etc. due to the swastika.
This article also considers how and why propaganda suceeds.
Some issues are simply not pleasant to deal with and this is one of them.
One ubiquitously promulgated well within the box atheist group think talking point is to use the question "What if Adolf Hitler had repented?" as a way to besmirch YHVH's saving grace.
However, in my new article I turn the tables on atheism and ask them about Hitler:
That some people still argue, or assert, that Adolf Hitler was a Christian is clear evidence of unfathomable levels of ignorance of both Adolf Hitler as well as Christianity.
Arguments in favor of Hilter being a Christian boil down to an assumption that Hitler was such an honest and trustworthy fellow that when he claimed to be a Christian, to follow the Bible, to follow God; it must be true. Forget that he is one of the most infamous maniacs in history and that he was a politician.
There is something to be said about not beating a dead horse. However, sometimes the horse is merely playing possum.
Nazi propaganda is alive and well and there are certain atheists which are on the forefront of promulgating it in their anti-Christian zeal. About.com advertizes itself as “Guidance. Not Guesswork,” “We’ll help you,” and seeks to do that via “750 experts here to help you…”
In this segment we will consider the movies: Constantine
I wanted to make a few comments about certain movies and television shows that somehow touch upon theology and particularly the Judeo-Christian worldview. True Freethinker has previously considered The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons and The Last Templar; find these at this link.
I suppose that the first thing to do is to state: SPOILER ALERT!
