Richard Dawkins, former Professor for the Public Understanding of Atheism at Miskatonic University, has posed so very many reasons as to why he will not debate William Lane Craig that it is difficult to keep up with his various evasions...

The man who once urged his daughter to never cut herself off from decent has become a master at doing just that.

Although, Richard Dawkins is actually not much of a master at this particular craft.
His various statements regarding whom he will and will not debate and why are nothing but a menagerie of that which is convenient for him to say at any given time and thus, he has weaved a tangled web of excuses and contradictions.

Below are two videos regarding his ongoing refusal to debate William Lane Craig.

The term "not bloody likely" comes to mind with regards to the debate as PZ Myers is of the thou shalt only preach to the choir school of atheist preaching.

Indeed, Tim Ross wrote as much for the Telegraph (May 14, 2011 AD). Interestingly, the subheading reads:

Proof That God Exists' author, Sye Ten Bruggencate, has publically challenged Penn and Teller's Penn Jillette to debate God's existence.

This is going to be good (if that is, Penn agrees) as Sye is a presuppositional Christian apologist and Penn adheres to the positive affirmation of God’s non-existence sect of atheism.

In my essay Will William Lane Craig debate Richard Dawkins? I pondered whether William Lane Craig would debate Richard Dawkins—or rather, the other way around.
For his part, Richard Dawkins had stated the following, “I’ve never heard of William Craig…A debate with him might look good on his resume, but it wouldn't look good on mine!” (how does he know, if he has never hear of him???)

I say “debate” because that which follows is part of a discussion/debate derived from a blog that I used to run wherein I had originally posted the essay, Speaking of Assiduous Absconders…Yet Again, Vox Day Challenges PZ Myers to Debate (see my debate section in general for more).

Not content to let the facts speak for themselves an atheist came to the rescue of their cult of personality’s cenobite.

One way that atheism is a consoling delusion is in claiming that the individual can find meaning/purpose. Yes, the universe is meaningless/purposeless but the individual can find their own. Of course, the individual must find their own because there is no intrinsic meaning/purpose. Therefore, it is precisely because there is no objective meaning/purpose that the atheist must find subjective meaning/purpose.

I think that the only thing to be said is that this speaks for itself…

No this little clip does not get to the substance, the meat, of the debate with James White (of Alpha and Omega Ministries) but it is just quite the oddity especially considering that Dan Barker has engaged in hundreds of debates.

Lewis Wolpert, author of Six Impossible Things Before Breakfast: The Evolutionary Origins of Belief (reviewed here and here) is still a child at heart; at least as regards his atheism.

The cell biologist and vice president of the British Humanist Association has elucidated the reasonable reason which reasonably lead him to reason his way to atheism.

He has stated,

As long as his adherents make excuses for him I do not suspect that Richard Dawkins will run out of reasons—excuses rather—for refusing to debate certain undesirable personages.

Richard Dawkins has, yet again, broken one of his very own new ten commandments (of which there are fifteen) as number eight states, “Never seek to censor or cut yourself off from dissent.”

You simply must appreciate the lucidity with which Richard Dawkins expresses his ignorance:

One issue that comes up in the second video is that the Jehovah’s Witness claims that the Bible does not state that Jesus raised Himself up from the dead.

According to the Bible God, the Triune God, each member of the Trinity, raised Jesus:

This is a very interesting exercise in debate between atheism and Christianity. A Christian posed as an atheist and debated young Christians.

Note that since it took place with high school students they like use like the like word like “like” like one like million like times like—and stuff.

What I do not understand is why it abruptly with a go to our website for info statement instead of taking the time, on the spot, to elucidate the various issues.
