Some issues are simply not pleasant to deal with and this is one of them.
One ubiquitously promulgated well within the box atheist group think talking point is to use the question "What if Adolf Hitler had repented?" as a way to besmirch YHVH's saving grace.

However, in my new article I turn the tables on atheism and ask them about Hitler:

Many atheists, so called skeptics and religious tolerance minded in general claim that the Golden Rule has been known and taught by many regardless of chronology, geography or theology.
In a way, this is a non-issue however, in another way it is a fallacious claim.

Indeed, American Atheists’ Al Stefanelli claims that one thing that “True Christians” do is commit murder.
The fact that as an atheist he cannot condemn murder, based on anything but a stack of personal preferences, is another issue.

I just finished posting a series wherein I dissect his article Christian Fundamentalists: Deeply Disturbed Psychotic Sociopaths in which he seeks to distinguish “fundamental Christian” from “Christian fundamentalist.”

This is an interesting apologetic issue.

This post will begin a multi part series on the fact that “Very religious” people are more mentally, emotionally and physically healthy than “Nonreligious.”
Keep in mind that while all atheists are “nonreligious,” not all “nonreligious” are atheists.
Also, keep in mind that some atheists engage in religious practices such as Sam Harris: the mystic atheist Buddhist who does not like the terms mystic atheist or Buddhist (see here). And keep in mind that for some, if not all, atheists, atheism is a “religion.”

While I suspect that they will not refuse to accept the gifts that mommy and daddy give them for Christmas, atheists have, again, been demonstrating their lack of charity (which studies evidence) and the fact that atheism is, essentially, an anti-Christian support group.
