Non-human intelligent life, have we discovered it?

What if you read something to the likes of the following in the news, hot off the press:

We have discovered a proofreading information system consisting of “four letters” stung together along a spiral double helix network which informs “machinery,” which have the ability to read and interpret the information, how to build functional three dimensional structures (‘machinery’ which have themselves been built based on the information system in the first place).

Surely, the SETI Institute and personages exercising logical common sense would conclude something to the likes of:

Eureka! We have discovered non-human intelligent life!

However, materialists, naturalists, Atheists—by any other name—would likely conclude:

What a coincidinc of a happenstance! How serendipitous that it just happens to have happened that way all by itself, blindly uncaused and without a goal!

It just is, it just happened, timedidit, matterdidit, chancedidit, evolutiondidit!

But why such a disparity—which beyond hyperbole is an accurate one?

Worldviews.

The worldview(s) represented by SETI and the logically commonsensical allows one to follow the evidence to where it leads: regardless of where it leads.

Conversely, the worldview(s) represented by materialists, naturalists, Atheism is well-within-the-box-group think as it restricts thoughts into a little and tightly constructed box of materialism/naturalism. Thus, such worldview(s) do not allow one to follow the evidence where it leads but prefers to deny inconvenient evidence.

You see, generally and in accordance to the scientific method, theory is changed when it encounters conflicting evidence. This is done so as to keep the theory reflecting our best estimations of truth thus far.

However, on the materialist/naturalist worldview(s) evidence is manipulated so as to force it to appear to support theory.

DNA provides the information whereby to build 3-D structures.

Now, you may recall that in the Atheist Carl Sagan’s book/movie Contact non-human intelligent life is concluded due to the reception of information whereby to build 3-D structures. This was a logical conclusion.

So, why the disparity?

It comes down to worldview based interpretations of evidence (for example, see Hermeneutics: on how to properly interpret……..DNA!?!?!).

SETI and the logically commonsensical interpret information whereby to build 3-D structures as denoting non-human intelligent life: some call this life aliens, some God and that is another issue.

Materialists, naturalists, Atheists, etc. interpret information whereby to build 3-D structures as denoting that some or another combination of time, chance and matter can do anything.
